Michigan Rural Interoperability EMS Data Integration Pilot - 2027

Summary

Synopsis As part of RHTP’s Interoperability in Action Initiative, the Rural Data Integration and Infrastructure Fund aims to the advance technology innovation through reducing duplicative care improving health outcomes through interoperable systems. This funding opportunity will advance interoperability and digital infrastructure for rural and left-behind providers to strengthen care coordination and reduce administrative burden.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be rural Michigan Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers, local public health agencies, or rural health care organizations that deliver EMS and related services within Michigan. Applicants must demonstrate capacity for digital data integration and commitment to interoperability.

Requirements Checklist

• Applicants must submit a completed application form, detailed project proposal outlining planned interoperability/data integration activities, line-item budget, cost allocation plan, and proof of rural EMS service area. Additional attachments may be required as specified in the application instructions.
