Eligibility

Eligible applicants are New Hampshire-based nonprofit, for-profit, and community organizations that are: licensed NH EMS units; organizations without EMS licensure but with a licensed NH EMS unit formally involved; or organizations actively pursuing NH EMS licensure (must provide documentation). Nonprofits must be in good standing with the NH Secretary of State. Applicants must be located in rural regions as defined by HRSA. Partnerships are encouraged, with a designated lead applicant. Ineligible entities are individuals or organizations with outstanding legal proceedings involving NH or government entities.

Requirements Checklist

• Applicants must describe organizational capacity, alignment with GO-NORTH RHT initiatives, provide a partnership and collaboration plan, and a sustainability plan describing self-sufficiency or continued funding. Required attachments: Work Plan of Milestones and Timeline (template in portal), Project Budget (template in portal), and Letters of Support from key partner organizations. Nonprofits must provide IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and Certificate of Good Standing from NH Secretary of State. Equipment purchases >$10,000 require prior approval. Ineligible activities include capital expenditures for facilities, duplicative clinical services, research projects, lobbying, and direct cash workforce recruitment/retention benefits.
