Synopsis As part of RHTP’s Interoperability in Action Initiative, the Rural Data Integration and Infrastructure Fund aims to the advance technology innovation through reducing duplicative care improving health outcomes through interoperable systems. This funding opportunity will advance interoperability and digital infrastructure for rural and left-behind providers to strengthen care coordination and reduce administrative burden. The Community Information Exchange (CIE) Coordinating Entity will identify organizations capable of implementing the standards necessary for successful CIE initiative implementation.
Eligible applicants include community-based organizations, rural health clinics, critical access hospitals, and other rural-serving healthcare entities capable of implementing and coordinating Community Information Exchange (CIE) efforts within Michigan. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to meet interoperability standards and coordinate among multiple providers.
