The South Carolina Office of Rural Health (SCORH), in partnership with the South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare, offers the 2026 Rural Enhancement Grant to support rural health providers in advancing their practices. This grant provides up to $5,000 per organization for technology upgrades including computers and software, portable medical devices such as remote patient monitoring and vital signs machines, education and training including professional conferences and value-based care training, environmental safety improvements like vaccine refrigerators and exam tables, and quality improvement activities such as PCMH accreditation and Lean Six Sigma training. Applications must clearly describe the items and intended uses with a detailed budget using the official template. This funding is focused on improving rural healthcare delivery and outcomes. Award notifications will be made in August 2026 with payments disbursed by the end of September 2026.
Eligible applicants must be rural health provider organizations as defined by the South Carolina Office of Rural Health.
