Eligibility

Eligible applicants include public and private entities with demonstrated transportation experience, including transit agencies, healthcare organizations, local governments, nonprofit entities, and for-profit organizations. Proposals must establish or expand dedicated non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services; funding cannot supplant existing services or funding sources. Applicants must demonstrate compliance with State and federal procurement rules, CMS/HHS requirements, and capacity to implement, operate, and sustain expanded rural transportation services.
