Teledentistry: Schools, Primary Care-based Oral Health Providers and Dental Practices

Summary

Maine RHTP grant opportunity to integrate asynchronous provider-to-provider teledentistry into rural and community-based care workflows, expanding access to licensed dental expertise, improving referrals and care coordination, and reducing avoidable travel and delays for children and adolescents in rural Maine.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include schools, primary care-based oral health providers, dental practices, community health centers, FQHCs, and other Maine-based rural healthcare or oral-health organizations. Applicants must demonstrate lawful operation, a UEI, appropriately licensed dental providers, direct clinical service capacity, teledentistry workflow and technology capability, privacy/security, care coordination, reporting, monitoring, evaluation, and quality-improvement capacity.
