Summary

the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). The selected vendor will support Ohio's critical access and rural hospitals by conducting needs assessments, delivering at least 10 targeted training sessions annually (focused on topics such as hospital solvency, sustainability, financial analysis, and workforce strategies), providing individualized technical assistance (especially for critical access hospitals), and facilitating development of sustainability plans. The program includes the planning and implementation of an annual Ohio RHT summit to showcase best practices and program outcomes. Services and technical assistance must be provided at no cost to participating hospitals.

Eligibility

Eligible offerors must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience providing technical assistance and/or training to Ohio rural hospitals, healthcare providers, and/or hospital administrators and staff. Preference will be given to organizations based in rural Ohio communities. Applicants must have the capacity and knowledge to perform the scope of work and deliverables, relevant experience managing project funds, and a sound financial profile. Only one award is anticipated.

The Technical Proposal should address: the approach to needs assessment, provision of at least 10 annual targeted training sessions, delivery of individualized and on-demand technical assistance, support for critical access hospital sustainability plans, and planning the annual Ohio RHT Summit. Proposals must follow the detailed structure and evaluation criteria provided in the RFP.
