NM - 2026 - Ob/Gyn Services in Northwest New Mexico (RFA 27-630-8000-0037)

Summary

The New Mexico Health Care Authority (HCA) requests applications from Medicaid-enrolled hospitals, Ob/Gyn clinics, and eligible providers—including MD/DO, CNM, CNP, and PA—to establish or expand reimbursable obstetric and gynecologic services in Cibola, McKinley, San Juan, Valencia, and Catron counties. Funding up to $1,000,000 supports operational costs, personnel, medical equipment, clinical space, provider recruitment, and telehealth infrastructure. Eligible projects must address access for Medicaid recipients and must be implemented in the target counties. The funding period is September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Applications must be submitted via the Euna Application Site; incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be New Mexico Medicaid-enrolled providers actively serving Medicaid recipients and offering or proposing to deliver Ob/Gyn services that are eligible for Medicaid reimbursement. Eligible provider types include: Obstetrician-Gynecologist (MD or DO), Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM), Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP), and Physician Assistant (PA) practicing in Ob/Gyn. Clinics and hospitals meeting these criteria and serving Cibola, McKinley, San Juan, Valencia, or Catron counties may apply. Applicants must meet all relevant state licensing requirements.
