Sub-program of the Workforce Recruitment and Rural Access Program (WRRAP). Funds rural medical residency programs to train and retain physicians in underserved Nevada communities. Funding result announced July 29, 2026: NVHA announced $4.8 million for rural medical residency investments, including a rural obstetrics fellowship, an APRN fellowship, a rural family medicine residency track in Fallon, and a statewide Rural GME Consortium.
Expected to include eligible rural health workforce entities. Expected to include rural health organizations and providers in Nevada. Eligibility described in RFA; anticipated to include rural health entities.
