You can now follow any state's Rural Health Transformation Program on Rural Care Journey. When something changes in a state you follow, it shows up at the top of your daily brief.
How to follow a state
- Open any state page, for example Ohio, and click Follow Ohio RHTP next to "Official RHTP site".
- Opportunity pages have the same button for that opportunity's state.
- In Research Intelligence, a report lists the states it found under Keep watching, so you can follow them in one click.
What you'll get
A "Your states" section at the top of your daily brief, covering only the states you follow:
- New opportunities, such as a newly posted RFP or grant
- Changes to existing opportunities, such as deadline changes, status changes and closures
- New awards announced in that state
Each item links to its RCJ page and the official source. If nothing changed in your states that day, the section is left out, so your inbox only gets updates when there's news.
Good to know
- Following is free; you just need a Rural Care Journey account. If you're not signed in, the button takes you through a quick sign-up and finishes the follow for you.
- You can follow as many states as you like.
- Following a state turns your daily brief email on, since that's where the updates arrive.
- To stop following, click ✓ Following [State] on the state page, or remove it under Profile → Followed states.
We built this because most people come to RCJ asking about one or two states. Now you can keep watching them without checking back every day. Try it on the states you work in and tell us what you'd like to see in your state updates.
