What a “GFO” is: Michigan's Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) runs the Rural Health Transformation Program as dozens of separate grant funding opportunities (GFOs), each with its own application package in the state's EGrAMS grants portal. They are not one omnibus grant — they are a sequenced series, grouped under five named initiatives.
Read the labels correctly: Michigan describes the program in Budget Periods, not simply “FY1” and “FY2.” Budget Period 1 (BP1) runs through October 30, 2026; Budget Period 2 (BP2) begins October 31, 2026. The - 2026 and - 2027 records here are separate solicitation packages with distinct EGrAMS files — not duplicate listings. RCJ has consolidated verified same-title / same-year duplicates while keeping every underlying application document.
