the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) to build comprehensive, accessible, 24/7 crisis services that reduce emergency department usage for mental health crises, strengthen rural health networks, upgrade technology and shared operations, and enhance the rural health workforce. Successful bidders will establish an alternative care setting for all ages and implement innovative, sustainable approaches to urgent care delivery.
Eligible applicants must be registered suppliers in Vermont’s VTBuys system. Bidders must possess relevant experience providing similar mental health urgent care or crisis services and hold or obtain business registration with the Vermont Secretary of State. Prospective bidders must have professional liability and insurance coverage as described in the RFP and demonstrate compliance with federal and state requirements, including socio-economic affirmative steps if subcontractors are involved.
