Competitive funding opportunity under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) to provide hospital-based wellness equipment supporting the health and well-being of staff at rural hospitals (Critical Access Hospitals, eligible tribal facilities) in North Dakota. Includes physical, mental, and social wellness equipment for direct installation in rural hospital facilities. Approximately 10 awards, estimated at $50,000 each, totaling $500,000 in Year 1.
Eligible applicants are rural hospitals in North Dakota, defined as Critical Access Hospitals. This includes non-federally operated Indian Health Service facilities and tribally run 638 health facilities. Federally operated Indian Health Service hospitals, clinics, health centers, behavioral health/psychiatric hospitals, and urban hospitals (Grand Forks, Fargo, West Fargo, Bismarck) are excluded. Only one application per organization will be accepted.
