Single award up to $1,600,000 for a healthcare consultant or organization with rural GME expertise to develop Utah's statewide 10-year GME strategic plan, advancing rural physician access and workforce capacity. Awardee will engage diverse stakeholders, including tribal and rural health facilities, and deliver rigorous, data-driven planning and technical assistance under Utah's Rural Health Transformation Program. Supported by CMS/HHS funding.
Eligible applicants are healthcare consultants or organizations with documented expertise in rural GME planning and implementation. Applicants must meet all minimum mandatory requirements as detailed in the RFGA, including proven capacity for statewide stakeholder engagement and data-driven strategic planning. Eligibility also requires the ability to furnish evidence of prior GME-related consulting or organizational services relevant to rural healthcare systems.
