The Digital Health Modernization and Technology Grant Program, as part of South Dakota's Rural Health Transformation (RHT) initiative, provides approximately $89M in grants to rural and underserved providers statewide. Priorities include EHR adoption, system upgrades, technology and workforce training, telehealth, interoperability, cybersecurity, and regional innovation centers. Eligible applicants are healthcare entities and providers serving rural and underserved South Dakota communities, including critical access hospitals and clinics. Applicants must meet state and federal requirements for subrecipients. Reference RFA #26-09RHT-020 in all applications.
