the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), delivering over $4.59 million to 19 projects across Alaska. This marks the start of a series of rolling weekly awards aiming to expand access to care, strengthen the health workforce, improve healthcare infrastructure, advance technology, and foster innovative solutions tailored to rural and hub communities. Project selection is based on alignment with RHTP goals, transformational potential, rural impact, sustainability, and contribution to a balanced statewide portfolio. Awarded amounts and project terms remain subject to completion of budget review, resolution of award conditions, and grant agreement execution. Additional award notices are announced each Friday. Eligible applicants are organizations and entities providing rural health care services in Alaska. Final eligibility may be subject to DOH and CMS program requirements and will be confirmed through the award negotiation process.
